On Thursday 3rd April we ran the first of our member events for 2008. In partnership with our wine merchants Playford Ros, we were delighted to welcome Eladio Fernandez from Bodegas Breton in the Rioja region of Spain for a wine celebration evening.
Around 60 members and guests had an excellent evening with fine food and an outstanding selection of wines with each course. Eladio was a highly entertaining speaker and will be welcomed back at any time. We also managed to receive a fantastic discount for members on the Bodega wines, and over 200 bottles were ordered on the night.
