A series of networking events where businesses and social enterprises present their ideas to a group of experienced business people in the spirit of collaboration, rather than competition. Where appropriate, we use our state of the art video conferencing facilities to link us with those unable to attend.
From November 2007 members will have access to our new business hub and meeting rooms, which will provide an elite and discreet place to meet and do business in comfort.
You will also receive a discount on the price of conference and function room hire - worth up to £150 per day on the standard rate of our largest rooms (conditions apply).
Members will have a number of free room hire hours credited to their account each year.
A programme of themed events is being planned to run throughout the year, providing further niche networking opportunities to Club LS1 members. These include:
- International evenings, featuring leading figures from the country or region being celebrated
- Master classes, where leading figures from business, the arts or sport talk about what they do
- Cultural events, performances and exhibitions with an insider edge
- Linked-in events, using our state of the art video conferencing facilities to link to other membership clubs with whom we have an alliance for an innovative and memorable evening
- Wine tasting and other themed cuisine demonstrations and events
- Other general networking events themed around the international calendar
All networking events are potentially international events, using our state of the art video conferencing facilities to link us to other venues.
You, as members, are also encouraged and supported to set up your own inner circles and affiliation clubs.
Throughout the year our Chairman will host a series of exclusive lunches and dinners with fine food and wine in a more intimate setting. These events will bring together key people from across the region to focus on and discuss particular topics. Outcomes of these discussions will be reported on exclusively in Link LS1, our members' newsletter.
Club LS1 members are eligible to visit and stay in over 100 associated clubs and venues worldwide, enjoying discounted accommodation rates. We are currently revising our lists of reciprocal arrangements.
